Getting Started

The first thing Sudoku fans will notice about a new Sudoku Fusion puzzle is that there are no pre-filled answers! You will need to use logic to ferret out a few to get started. Thereafter, you progress by alternating between traditional Sudoku techniques, and determining what number combinations satisfy the sums.

Step 1: Look for "Gimmies"

If you are lucky, your puzzle will have one or more areas which consist of only a single square. These are easy, because the only digit that can satisfy the sum of such an area is the sum itself. (See shaded squares and digits.)

Next Technique
